VESTIGE is a static, local-first playback console built to demonstrate format-aware archival monitoring. It ships with a working transport, safe-area and grain controls, an inspectable reel library, and a 48-profile format atlas. There is no account system, no server component, and no telemetry.
This mirror is the complete source for the website. The downloadable archive contains exactly these files, including this repository page and the GPL-3.0 license.
Run locally
$ cd vx-console $ python -m http.server 8123 $ open http://127.0.0.1:8123 → 48 profiles loaded · 0 requests to third parties
No npm, no bundler, no lockfile. The site is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, designed to survive its own toolchain.

Format support
The public console is a format-faithful interface and procedural proxy. It plays local browser-compatible media through the Open file control and demonstrates 48 archival format profiles with correct carrier, raster, timecode and condition metadata. Native legacy decode is the domain of the desktop build; this repository is the reference UI and format atlas.
